A Little Family Bonding with the Universe

Well, Blog, it has been awhile. And I want to apologize for that. I have been neglectful but "it wasn't you, it was me..." Let's just say had I continued to blog during the months of May/June, there is a definite chance you would have toilet-papered my house and/or sliced my tires because I was not in my happy place...but I am over it now (dude, everyone's over it) and all is well so let's move on and Welcome Back Cotter!

One of the new things I am trying these days is Yoga (well technically not these days since today was my actual first day) but I surprisingly really, really enjoyed it. I didn't know if I would and I was nervous about it for whatever reason, but then I became one with the universe (ohmmmmmmmm) and all was right in the world. Brinley and Braden decided to join me and I took their pictures to show their sweet Yoga moves.

They really know their downward-facing dog.
And the Cobra! Ssssssssss!
And their extended triangle pose is really coming together nicely.
It's all about the flexibility, children...

Brinley kept it up with the warrior pose,
but Braden...well...
he decided his muscles were already big enough so he was over it.

Woo-hoo! An update!! (Does my enthusiasm make my life seem sad?) I'm happy to hear that you're in a happier place and bonding with the universe and all that. (Frustrations with a new place??)

Keep on keeping on. (and by that I mean keep blogging). :)

I am training to be a yoga teacher and have been totally immersed in different styles of yoga the past 5 years. I love it. Kids are naturally great yogis. Deva loves doing it. It's a good way to stay sane and have children. Austin has a ton of yoga studios(I looked because we thought about moving there after school). It's been my out since I am not really dancing anymore.

Yoga is supposed to be fabulous, but I never have the patience for it! Perhaps you want to run a half marathon with me in Oct? Think about it.

Your kids...seriously, geez I just love'em.

So glad to see you've posted. Those kiddos are crackin' me up. Too cute! I don't think my downward facing dog would be a pretty site.
