It was Brinley's first day of Preschool. 
She woke up at least two times in the middle of the night and was dressed and ready to go at the butt crack of dawn. She "had" to have her hair straightened for the first day of school, and asked me about twenty times if she could wear her Hello Kitty shoes to school "every day." I was so grateful she wasn't scared or nervous…unlike her mother.
The little girl who is frightened of so many things walked right in the door, saw her friend Savannah, and might as well told me to "Check myself." She was SO happy to see her new friends. Frankly, I'm pretty proud of both of us: Neither of us cried. (Well, I didn't until much later, that is. ;)

Cute little Brinley!She is such a doll! I'm glad everything went okay. We went to Kaitlin's preschool open house. I am excited for her. She starts on Tues. I am sure I will be turning on the waterworks.
Sometimes it is so hard to see them grow up, huh? She was darling, though. Glad that you both made it without crying (too much)!
She was so excited telling me about pre-school last night. She loved it. I'm proud of you both. She looked so cute.
I loved it that you said you were 'mostly' fine too -- I was the mommy in the hall crying after I got the kids through the classroom door with a big smile. They didn't look back at me -- which was good as I was a mess. She will do great -- she's bright, funny and also adorable!
Glad to see you survived. She looked so cute. It'll get easier! Until you send them to kindergarten anyway. At least she wasn't crying that would've made it harder.

yay for brinley! what a big girl. yay for you, too. i'm sure it's hard to send your baby off. i'm not looking forward to that next year...i'm glad this year is just a co-op situation. how great that savannah is in her class. maya is so in love with brinley, savannah and emma.

This is what it is all about. To see that we have raised them to be able to "play well with others". I have that skirt for Brynn and one for maryn in the blue. Love it. What a great mom.

what a stylin little girl! glad she loved her first day of school. my aubrey is a girl who is afraid of so many things, but loved preschool and absolutely loves kindergarten. this week has been crazy so i haven't posted in awhile but i'm going to post about her first day soon. she did great! yea! :) and i survived mostly too:)
