HOORAY! A book I can relate to and feel good about (besides cookbooks ;)!

I love your blog music. Iz is a fave in our home. My 10 year old especially is in a Iz Kamakawiwo'ole stage. ;0)

I so love that you just hunted down a book to reaffirm your position on messiness. That's why I love you.

I have to comment on the song, it takes me to a happy place! White beaches, blue waters, cool breezes, and lots of family.

Well, I am one of those people who loves to be in a clean house, but feel like mine is never quite up to par. Even when I clean all day, the kids were off messing up some other area, so, there ya go. I actually did have a cleaning lady until recently, and it did help me feel better about things. She came every other week. Things are a little calmer in my life right now, and my kids are getting a little bit older, so I felt like we could handle it on our own now. But I sure do miss having someone else scrub my bathrooms! And she always did the inside of the microwave, too. That's the spot that I never remember, except when I'm using the microwave, which isn't really a convenient time to CLEAN it. Then every once in awhile someone is at my house and uses it, and I die of embarrassment over the dried up bits of gunk in there....

I have decided, though, that having my house full of giggles and hugs is better than my house being perfectly clean all the time.
