President Faust

At a loss for words, the least I can say is your humility was inspiring…

You will be sorely missed.

I have been really sad this morning since I heard this. I know that he will be missed by all. He has been such a great inspiration and teacher for my whole life.

that is how I feel. Funny though, I don't feel sad. I feel this feeling of freedom for him for a body that gave so much. I feel like he can finally continue on the mission he was given, no longer barred by the constraints of an earthly unhealthy body. How difficult it must have been for him to no longer be able to do those things he loved, to travel abroad and share the gospel. I keep thinking of the talks recently about death and the one by Elder Wirthlin called Sunday will come. And I smile thinking of the amazing Sabbath President Faust had today. An amazing man.

I am so glad he was able to give his talk on forgiveness(in April 07 conference). It was so powerful, and I know helped alot of people.

Faust set my parents apart barely a month ago. It was an amazing experience, and though he was old and feeble, his mind was so sharp. His body just could not keep up with his mind. He has been a most beloved apostle.
