Today Brinley participated in a Primary Talent Show, and let me tell you, these girls were so cute. I officially want to sign Brinley up for dance next year. The minute she was off-stage, she asked, "Can I do it again?" which is so crazy to me because I have to drag the girl up onto the stage to perform. Isn't that life, though? The unknown is terrifying until we give it a shot, only to find out we love it. It's all apart of the game. I remember feeling the exact same way when I was her age.
Side note on the talent show: I don't know if it's me or the church was abnormally hot, but I was pitting-out like no one's business. It was disgusting. Seriously, from my boobs to the middle of my back: sweat marks. Gross. I kept forgetting to fold my arms so I could hide the obvious circles under my arms. Crap! I could never remember to hide my shame. Oh well. Why must pitting-out occur?
Brinley and I also went shopping together today for Father's Day for dear old Dad and I saw a small glimpse into the future. I realized one day Brinley and I will get some serious mother/daughter hang out time: shopping, going to the movies, pedicures, etc. How awesome will that be? Now, I love my son, but you can't get pedicures with your son (or at least you shouldn't). It also made me feel a little guilty because when I was around 12 or so, I dreaded shopping. My mom always wanted me to go, but I preferred to stay at home and read a book. Holy cow, how things have changed and also stayed the same. I love shopping now, and wish I would have spent more time with my mom doing so (man, think of all the extra cute stuff I could have gotten ;) just kidding! I am very grateful for both my mother and my father!

I am glad the talent show went well! Love Brinley's dress, she looks so cute! I sweat all of the time too. The only thing that dries me up is certain dri. Have you tried it? you put it on at night, it makes my armpits itch because it really dries them up, I only use it when I need to raise my arms a lot. ;)
I'm so glad Brinley enjoyed it! I must say when we practiced the other day and she hung her head down during the middle of the song, I thought, "Oh my goodness, what are we doing to this poor little girl??!"
Girl time is fun, I've had my share lately!! The pitting out...not so good. Happens here way to much. Glad the talent show went well, I bet she was cute. Little girls and dance are oh so fun.
I meant to say before, that you look really cute in the picture too!
