I cannot think of anything cool to blog about today, other than my house is filthy and I have ZERO desire to clean it. When did I become such a slobby mom? My mother-in-law came over today and saw it and I wanted run far away and pretend this wasn't my house! It's so embarrassing because her house is always SO clean and now she knows what a slobby daughter-in-law I am. Like she didn't know before. Who am I kidding?

In other news, I HATE the Doodlebops. Honestly. Most kid's tv shows I can just ignore and go about my business (and some even giggle at to myself) but the Doodlebops are a tool of Satan. They're weird and creepy and my kids are banned from them.

Wow! I'm fun today. You're probably so glad you stopped by! :) Sorry. It's an off day for me. I mean, who hates the Doodlebops? They're pink and furry--you shouldn't really hate them. In fact, I've just repented and will now retract my hating them, and change it to more of a serious dislike.
So, my goal for my next post is to write something very uplifting and wonderful like this picture!

I am with you on the Doodle Bops they are creepy, I looked up pictures of them out of make up and they aren't much better. You go right on hating them. sorry about your mother in law coming by on an off day, that is always so embarassing. Our home teachers came the other day, and I was in my pj's and the house was trashed. nice...Call first people!!!!!
Not a fan of the Doodlebops either. Maya won't be watching them at my house. And you know Wendy loves you -- she doesn't care about your house. Eat something good and you'll feel better. (nice, right? I'm pushing food on you!)
Thanks guys! I feel better already! Wendy is very nice and won't judge, I'm sure!
That first picture is great. It kind of reminds me of home sweet home. And why is that people only seem to stop by unnannounced when all your laundry is sitting in the front room with your underwear on top? Oh and with dirty diapers sitting on my porchy waiting to be taken to the trash.
Kristi,
Hi from La Nan's SIL -- just so you know, I *hate* Doodlebops too. That show and Barney were strictly forbidden around here. The kids know that if that show is on and I come in, it's going off immediately. Dumb, but true.
And P.S., I have the fortune of always having people drop by when my kids are in the middle of a fight about something and they make it look like we totally live in a zoo or something.
I can't stand the doodle bops. I won't let my kids watch them. I've trained them that when they come on the come running and screaming "the weirdo doodle bops are on mom change the channel!" I think people instinctivley know when your house is dirty that's why they stop by! It happens to the best of us!
freakin' doodle bops. their hands. they are gross. no doodlebops here. and i so want to give them some whitestrips. talk about some yellow grins. ick.
I hate the Doodlebops too, I just don't get them at all. Oh, my house...don't get me started!! Hannah asked me "what's gotten into you?" I was being a little grumpy myself today :).
a good grumpy day is in order everyonceinawhile! and dumb things like the doodlebops should make us all grumpy!
