Boise Rocks

Tomorrow I am leaving for Boise (aka Party-town USA) and, boy, do I have a ton to do and little time to accomplish it. I am a little freaky about cleaning my house before I take a trip. I hate leaving the house messy. Of course, that just means a ton of extra work before I leave (laundry, sweeping, blah, blah), and then a ton to do when I get home with the inevitable mounds of laundry and unpacking.

But, I am not complaining because I am SO dadgum excited to go to Boise and hang with my sisters and my mom and party all night and enjoy each other's company quietly at home. J

We're having a little girl's weekend (well, not "little girls" so much as a "short trip"), with a quick zip down to Utah over night, packing in as much shopping as we can, before heading back to Boise to hang out for a couple more days. It should be a lot of fun. The temp has been in the 107's this week, but my Mom let me know that a cold front is coming through soon and it will drop to the low 100's…awesome. At least I won't pit out quite like I do here (not that I don't enjoy a good sweaty pit every now and again J)

Brinley's new word today is "awesome," which I know is absolutely fascinating to all the readers reader out there, but it just sounds so weird when she says it. Like she's so old…and I'm so old. I adore that little girl.

Now don't let this picture deceive you...I actually do have eyes, I just like to hide them behind those tiny slits.. I'm not sure why I'm posting this off-center, ugly picture of myself, except that: oh well. I just got over the fact that I barely have eyes to see through...enjoy.

Well, I'm off to pretend like I'm going to start my laundry and my dishes, but I'll probably just sit here and read your blogs for another hour…

Sisters ARE THE BEST. I hope you have a blast. Your picture is CUTE you spaz, and I think "pitting out" in one of the funniest phrases ever. It totally cracks me up when you say it. Have a fun trip!
