The New Fanny Pack

I saw someone wearing this today and it made me really sadSo, I've been thinking as I browse your blogs and enjoy all the awesome ideas/finds/tidbits/stories, I realized something: You guys are inspiring, intelligent, and funny people. You have great ideas. You are clever and witty. You are great parents. You are nice to your families and kind to your kids.

Man, I've been feeling like my blog, on the other hand, is not a snazzy place for sage advice or sweet hook-ups on stuff that no one else has discovered. Nor is it a place to find sound parenting tips or the "right" way to do things, as it were. Or inspiration...especially after my last couple of posts. So, I'm thinking I need to make the blog a little more upbeat or kind (as the above picture/commentary proves) but what can I tell you? I'll work on it.
Well, check yourself before you wreck yourself (hmmm...not quite upbeat)
Keep on, Keepin on...

Kris, Don't change your blog. It makes me laugh. I do have one suggestion. You could put some fun dance music on here. That way I get to do my TOO MUCH BOOTY IN THE PANTS dance at work.

Kristi, I just "met" you-- and I love your blog. Hard. In fact, maybe you should change it, to avoid creepy blog-love from strangers. And by that, I mean don't change it!

Off topic, I just want to give you an Austin shout out! I just went for the first time in April, and Austin Rocks! We saw the bats, had barbeque at Artz, shirley temples at The Broken Spoke, enjoyed eats with our movie at the Alamo, and I nearly talked myself into $400 cowboy boots. I brag about Austin to anyone who will listen. Yeah, I bet that's starting to annoy people.

Kristi,

I am Angie's friend. I love your blog. You make me laugh every single day. Do not change a thing. You are my comic relief from my crazy life of 4. I think that is the best thing you give the blogging world, laughter in every day things. I get great advice, like the Cafe Rio, whatnot to wear to the gym, and how to just laugh.
Okay, back to just reading.

You had me at "I heart the Book of Mormon!" I need a daily read from your too funny blog! It is most enjoyable, of course I have gushed this before.

Okay that might have come out wrong, B.O.M. and too funny were two separate thoughts!

Man, thanks guys. :) Can I say once agaon how awesome you guys are? I truly wasn't trying to fish for anything. I think I was just having a "Can I be a nicer person?" Day, which of course, I can/should, but now you've taken that giant weight off my shoulders and I guess I don't have to...yay!

It's funny that you posted this, because today I was thinking my blog needed some awesome product reviews like Kristi's!! You are so witty and funny and your friends totally adore you! So don't you dare change a thing!! By the way, I enjoyed Koontz' The Husband. I'm looking forward to his next one. ("Kill me instead" ?, is that that new one?). HUGS!
