So, I ran to the mall last week for the sweet sale at Bath & Body Works. As I was strolling along, passing the teenyboppers and the Cookie Shoppe (which was calling my name with it's delicious aroma), I noticed people lined up along the other side of the mall. They seemed to gather specifically in front of the Hollister Store, so my mind went a-racing. "Is it a movie? Are they searching for models? Is someone going to stop me and ask me to get in line?" Obvious thoughts.
The line went past Hollister with people sitting on the floor, in camping chairs, and (this is when I got suspicious) with laptops. Blogging, I'm sure…And then as I inspected more closely, I noticed some were middle-aged…Hmmm, surely they don't need middle-aged people modeling Hollister clothes, right? Unless they had a new line I hadn't heard about (actually, why would I hear about any Hollister line? But moving on…)
Later I talked to my sister and she informed me it was all for the iPhone. All of it. I had failed to notice the Apple store on the other side of Hollister (which I guess says something about me...not so hip on the technology), but that made so much more sense: That's why no one stopped me to request that I head over to the audition area…
However, is camping out in the mall for a phone necessary? This phone must be pretty sweet.
Well, then I was quite curious about the iPhone and I wondered, how in the heck does this thing work?

Where are the numbers?
Without numbers, how high-tech can it be? That actually seems more, I don't know...low-tech to me. J Maybe it senses who you want to call…That would be quite an advancement in technology.

that's great kristi - i laughed pretty loud! so - that phone - besides being questionably techy, the major-est disappointment to me is the cost... it cost one arm & two legs! i agree - not worth it. but, where are the numbers - there's four choices on the screen, you have to push the button that activates the phoney one.
i'm low tech, too. i can barely figure out my ipod. this thing is a mystery to me.
People were sleeping out in Vegas too! Crazy! Oh and I love your new blog layout, very cute!
It is crazy, they were sleeping out here too. I did see the commercial and it did look pretty cool, but way too much phone for me.
I think the phone is way cool, but alas it would just feed my computer addiction.
